It is Elan's policy to present only the CV's of highly relevant candidates to our clients, easing the administrative burden on their in-house staff.

Elan's interviewer will conduct a rigorous interview to ensure that you are fully aware of the nature of the position and the company and will verify that you meet the requisite competencies.

In the initial interview with Elan, you will be issued with information on the client. This information will include company overview, lines of business, clients, the recruitment process and role profile.

Elan then uses our tried and tested approach to candidate selection and short listing, which involves an in-depth and rigorous interview process to assess candidates on their educational qualifications and past experiences and to ensure that only the most suitable candidates enter the interview process.
Stage 1: CV Screening
Elan use pre-agreed selection criteria to screen CV's against each role. Elan is responsible for ensuring a standardised approach is utilised whatever the sourcing route, thus ensuring consistency of approach to all contacted individuals in the talent pool.
Stage 2: Initial Telephone Pre-Screening - Long list
An initial telephone screen is conducted with you to understand key skills - this will also include assessment of your commitment to take up a role with the client as well as your availability and suitability. You are then scored against the client fit using the pre-agreed criteria.
Stage 3: In-depth Criteria based Telephone Interview - Shortlist
The Elan team will conduct a preliminary interview with you in building a long list of appropriate professionals who have the skills and experience our clients require.
A rigorous interview will then ensure that each applicant is fully aware of the nature of the position and the company, and will verify whether you hold the requisite technical, personal, security and commercial competencies.

Stage 4: Face-to-Face Interviews with the Client
When you are successfully shortlisted by Elan you will be presented to the client together with Elan consultant notes from the 1st interview.
Elan will always send your original CV as we believe that this best represents you accurately. On submitting your CV, Elan will make the client aware of any other interviews you have so that the Client is fully aware of the competition they face to secure you.
Stage 5: Optional Testing and Screening Solutions
Additionally, some Elan clients require additional testing and screening options in order for you to take up a role. We will advise you of any such items at the beginning of the recruitment process.
